Eastern
Nigeria
Support economic
development activities that will generate 3
million new jobs in 10 years
Our immediate focus
is to reduce the number of people living below the
poverty line by generating 3 million new job in
our current target area – Eastern Nigeria. This
number of jobs will support 3 million families,
which translates into bringing 10 million people out of poverty. In Eastern Nigeria alone,
ICA will be working, over the next 10 years, to
reduce the number of people living below the
poverty line (UN benchmark of less than $1/day),
from 22 million to 12 million (or 7m to 4million
families). We will do this by creating an
environment that allows the required new jobs to
be created.

North-West
Ghana
We are supporting micro-enterprises in the
water-drilling micro-businesses. There is a huge unemployment
in this region and several young entrepreneurs desperate
for assistance to grow their ventures. In the mist
of this are several hundred thousands of people
with no portable water. So the ventures in this
region will help meet many of our poverty
reduction targets.

Representative, Mr. Allan Atsu is heading this
project. For more information, Allan can be
