Most members are are grassroots representatives of ICAfrica, work in their respective communities and campuses to promote the ICAfrica idea and raise funds locally. The primary idea of ICAfrica is that poverty in Africa must be reduced through sustainable economic means by empowering small entrepreneurs to grow their ventures and create jobs for themselves and others. Our members help us raise money and help us find more volunteers for the growth of our programs in Africa.

Fundraising:
All chapters and communities fundraise for specific projects. You can select a project from our list of pending projects or suggest a new one. Often, membership teams will take complete ownership of such projects from planning, fundraising to execution in the field in Africa.  Initially, this may appear very daunting but you will quickly find that it gets easier once the first project is done. The team approach in tacking projects allows members to create solid long-term experiences and relationships.
