Economic business development sprit is what we promote in African entrepreneurs, as a way toward solving their regions poverty crises. Corporation in the advanced developed world can play a huge role in supporting these entrepreneurs by volunteering coaching and mentoring services as well as financially assisting these small ventures and potential future customers. Please partner with ICA to help ensure that the future is brighter for everyone.

 ICA is one of the world's pioneer NGOs fighting poverty in Africa through working with local grassroots entrepreneurs, to create jobs for the masses. We have just started work in Eastern Nigeria and will cover most of sub-Sahara within 3 years. Our long-term goal will result in higher earning power for over 30 million men & women and effectively bring over 100 million people above the poverty line. Our approach is that if  parents have jobs that pay fair local wages, they will be able to take care of their children’s needs in food, housing, education, health, etc. ICA has no religious or political affiliations.

You Can Sponsor a Country-Project
Your company or staff can sponsor a project in a country where you have business interests or cultural links. ICA will locate Entrepreneurs who needs your help, in a country that is mutually beneficial for both your business strategy and ICA's program priorities.

You Can Sponsor an Issue
When you sponsor an issue, you can direct your employee or company contributions to a specific issue confronting local Entrepreneurs in Africa. Issues like:
* Efficient tools;
* Affordable Business loans;
* Capacity development;
* Access to markets,
* Product development,
* Staff training.
 

You Can Sponsor a Community Project
* Establish an enterprise cocooning center;
* Build a school,
* Set up a health clinic,
* Drill boreholes and setup a clean drinking water system;
* Establish a public Library;
* Establish an internet/communication center. 
When you sponsor a project, your contributions go towards a project that develops local entrepreneurs while focused on improving the daily lives of the community and families within the area.
 

You can Donate to ICA's General Fund
For Direct Economic Assistance to entrepreneurs in areas of Africa with the greatest need for jobs creation, at any given time.
 

You Can Benefit from Marketing/Licensing Agreements

You Can Start a Staff /Company Fundraiser

Your company can support us by offering services or products free of charge or at a discounted rate. Of particular value to ICA are: Advertising & promotions, fundraising, Business coaching services in Africa; International shipping & forwarding, trucking within donors countries and in the recipient developing countries of Africa;  legal & accounting services, public relations, skills training, awareness raising activities and event support (venue, catering, entertainment, etc).
  

You Can Give As You Earn
A group of employees contributing a small amount each week can provide great support to our Africa projects and can really make a difference. ICA can help your payroll department make the administration of this process easy.

Your United Way Donation
You can direct all or part of your United Way donation to ICA Canada, even though we are not a United Way agency. Please indicate your wishes on your pledge card by writing on the card: I would like ___ % of my donation to go to International Charity for Africa. Please include our Canada Revenue Agency Registered Charity number of BN: 87409 1242 RR0002. Or call your local United Way to arrange for a gift to International Charity for Africa Canada, over the phone. Since the United Way does not forward ICA Canada the names of people who donate, we cannot personally thank our United Way donors. Please accept our sincere thanks. Your donation is very much appreciated!
  

You Can Donate Investments and Securities
You can achieve significant tax benefits by giving a listed security or investment, such as stocks, bonds, mutual funds and GICs. Changes to Canadian tax laws have made these donations more appealing to donors, as the capital gains tax is reduced when you donate this type of investment to a charity. You will also receive a charitable donation receipt for the full amount of the fair market value of the security, just as if it had been a cash donation. Because of these tax incentives, the cost of the gift to the donor is often far less than the value of the gift to the charity.
