ICA is a Canadian NGO, registered with CRA as charity No: BN: 874091242RR0002 (equivalent to USA charity No: 501(c)(3)). We are a  nonprofit organization dedicated to fighting poverty in Africa through the creation of jobs to reduce unemployment.  We are  headquartered in Ottawa, Canada and provide complete direct business growth assistance to micro-businesses sub-Sahara Africa.

Vision  
Today, in 2008, 70% of the 780 million Africans are still living in extreme poverty on less than $1 a day. ICA's goal is to use charitable means to begin to encourage an environment that enables an African economic growth that drives away extreme poverty and cuts by half, the number of people living below the poverty line by year 2015, following the United Nations Millennium Development Goals. 

Mission
Our mission is to relieve extreme poverty in the population by creating jobs though assisting the hundreds of thousands of promising and capable local micro entrepreneurs with business coaching and micro-credit; providing work skills training; in all, ensuring gender equality and environmental sustainability.  

Goal - 10 Year Plan
To reduce the number of jobless Africans from 200m (60% of employable adults) to 50m (15%) and reduce the number of people living below the extreme poverty line from the current 550 million to 100 million
