Loans from Donors (DRL)
The Give-A-Loan button below, allows individuals,
working and living anywhere in the world to contribute a Donor
Refundable Loan (DRL) directly to struggling but still
impoverished entrepreneurs in African small towns and villages,
for the purpose of increasing the capital base in their businesses.
This is to enable such African entrepreneurs to earn better incomes for
their families. This loan could go to a designated recipient or a
team of entrepreneurs. The exact amount of DRL received will be
refunded to you, the donor without interest, within a maximum of one year and
one month from the date ICAfrica receives your DRL. At that time, you
will be contacted and offered a chance to re-loan your DRL to
another team or individual recipient. During the period of the
loan, you will receive quarterly progress reports on the
performance of your loan, the entrepreneur and their family.
Straight
Donation
If you choose to just Donate, your donation will be applied the
same way as DRL, will not be refunded to you at the end of 12
months but will instead be counted as the charity's asset to apply
to development programs as it deems necessary.
